Introduction

This course introduces the principles of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Management Systems and how the three (3) respective standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 can be implemented.

  • Be familiar with tools and techniques for detecting and solving problems revealed during site inspections and audits
  • Be able to prepare for and assist with an independent certification assessment and surveillance visits
  • Develop a culture for continuous improvement within the organization

The course uses a range of approaches to learning, including experiential group activities, individual exercises, mini-case studies, and role plays. A key part of the learning process is sharing the differing experiences participants bring, as well as experimenting with some new techniques.

DAY 5

Tools and Techniques for Identifying and Resolving Issues

  • Verification, validation, monitoring, measurement, inspection and test activities specific to the project and the criteria for project acceptance
